SambazaUjuzi Program
Spreading Skills. Transforming Lives.
SambazaUjuzi, meaning “Spread Skills” in Swahili, is a flagship initiative by All from One organization designed to empower vulnerable individuals, particularly youth, women, and teenage mothers, with practical, marketable skills that enable self-reliance, promote dignity, and unlock economic opportunities.
The program aligns with our mission of Full Consideration for All, offering both long-term and short-term training interventions. SambazaUjuzi creates inclusive spaces where individuals are equipped not only with hands-on skills but also with the confidence to pursue livelihood pathways that break cycles of dependency.
Tailoring, Fashion & Design
Training Tracks and Partners:
In partnership with Big Brother Enterprise in Kakuma 1 (Hong Kong area), 10 women and teenage mothers are trained in garment making, fashion design, and tailoring business basics.

Beauty, Hairdressing & Cosmetics
In collaboration with Grace Saloon in Soko Burundi, another 10 teenage mothers learn skills in salon operations, hair care, beauty services, and cosmetic application.
Crochet & Creative Enterprise
Through Mapendo Crochet Creative Enterprise, participants gain hands-on experience in crocheting and product design, enabling them to produce and market handmade items.
This program promotes self-reliance, accelerates skills-based income generation, and helps participants transition from social vulnerability to active economic contribution.

SambazaUjuzi – Inclusive Skills Training for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs)
Recognizing the importance of inclusive programming, All from One Foundation introduced a special arm of SambazaUjuzi tailored for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs). This three-day intensive training focuses on building creativity and confidence through accessible, health-conscious skills.
The activity emphasized:

Hands-on learning tailored to physical ability

Promotion of mental well-being and inclusion

Social cohesion through group creativity

Skills transfer that leads to potential income generation
Despite its short duration, the impact was profound — participants not only learned and practiced the skills but successfully produced their first creative pieces, demonstrating both capability and potential for long-term engagement.
