Outcomes and Impact
Transforming Potential into Power: Our Outcome & Impact
The SambazaUjuzi program is more than skills training—it’s a catalyst for self-reliance, social inclusion, and sustainable impact.
Though our journey has only just begun, we are already witnessing powerful signs of transformation across all three focus areas: Tailoring, Crochet, and Beauty, and especially among Persons with Disabilities (PWDs).
This is a story of growth in motion, where every stitch, every braid, and every pattern is shaping a future filled with purpose.
Tailoring: Threads of Transformation
Our tailoring trainees are just beginning to master the art of sewing—but even in these early stages, the energy is undeniable. For many, this is their first experience using a sewing machine or creating functional garments.
Early Outcome Highlights:
- Participants are confidently navigating sewing tools and basic garment construction.
- There's a visible increase in motivation and ambition, especially among young women and mothers.
- Several trainees are already envisioning small tailoring businesses to serve school and community needs.
“Tailoring has given me the courage to dream again.”
-Trainee

Crochet: Building Confidence, One Loop at a Time
Crochet is emerging not just as a skill, but as a therapeutic, creative outlet. With minimal resources, trainees are learning to transform yarn into beautiful, handcrafted products such as mats, bags, and home decor.
Early Outcome Highlights:
- Strong skill development in pattern making and design.
- Calm, focused learning environments that promote emotional well-being.
- There is a growing belief among participants in the income potential of their creations.
“With every mat I make, I see a way to support my family.”
– Crochet Trainee
Persons with Disabilities (PWDs): A Breakthrough in Ability and Inclusion
The standout transformation has come from our PWD cohort. In just a short time, all 10 participants have demonstrated exceptional skills in crochet mat-making. Their success is not just technical—it is symbolic of a broader breakthrough in self-belief, financial vision, and community recognition.
Confirmed Impact:
- All 10 PWD participants have completed and showcased sale-ready crochet mats.
- Each trainee now sees a clear path toward financial independence.
- Community perception is shifting—from pity to pride.
“I feel capable. I feel seen. I feel free.”
– PWD Trainee

The Journey Ahead
SambazaUjuzi is in its foundation phase, yet the ripple effect has already begun. We are building a culture of possibility—where the underserved are not waiting for handouts but crafting their futures with skill, dignity, and purpose.

Looking Ahead
At All from One, we believe that skills are a form of power — one that can be shared to transform lives. SambazaUjuzi is more than just a training program; it is a movement of inclusion, resilience, and possibility.
We are actively working to expand the reach of both arms of the program, welcoming new partnerships, trainers, and opportunities that allow our participants to turn potential into progress.
